2008/06/02放牧地の牧柵作り始めました。Making new fence for pasture.
同じ十勝エリアで肉牛の繁殖をしている私たちのバイオダイナミック仲間、中川さんが、私たちのために家の木を持ってきてくださり、彼の牧柵作りを教えてくださいました。
ベンもアメリカでも牧柵作りをしていたので、慣れたものです。

Dear Ones, what are you doing with the dandeliions? Looks like Ben is putting up a fencewith the logs, is it to keep in the cows? Herb's garden already has one cucumer, very smal,and a few small squash,,the beans are about 10 inchges high and running, tomatoes have blooms, can't wait for the fresh food. Are you all still vegetarians?Sounds like you are both busy, and getting ready to be even busier. is the shower finished, do you have running water? Much love and good wishes from MOM.

hi mom the dandelions are for preparation 506.we wrap the herbs in bovine mesentery and bury in the ground.you can learn more this fall at the fall festival workshop.
the logs are for the fence.the logs are white birch which is a soft wood so the wood will not last more than 2 or 3 years.trhe fence is an electric fence anyway easy to disassemble and setup
.yes we are mostly vegetaerian we dont buy meat to eat in our home but sometimes eat meat when we go out to a resturant or someone elses home which is seldom.
the shower is finished and nothing like an outdoor shower.during the winter ill have to rebuild.
have fun at the reunion and tell everyone hello for us.have a safe trip and dont work to hard.
